Who we are

MaxHabits (habits.maxhuman.ai and the MaxHabits iOS app) is a habit-tracking social network operated by MaxHuman. Questions about this policy or your data: max@maxhuman.ai.

What we collect

  • Account data, your email address, display name, username, and optional profile photo. If you sign in with Apple or Google, we receive your email and name from that provider; we never see your password for those accounts.
  • Habit data, the habits you add, your check-ins, streaks, likes, comments, follows, and challenge participation.
  • Usage data, standard analytics (pages viewed, approximate location from IP, device type) to understand how the product is used.

How we use it

To run the product: showing your routine, computing streaks, powering social features, sending the optional weekly recap email, and improving MaxHabits. We do not sell your personal data.

Public profiles

Profiles are public by default so friends can find you, your username, display name, photo, habits, and streaks may be visible to anyone. You can make your profile private at any time in Settings; private profiles are hidden from other users and search engines.

Where your data lives

Account and habit data is stored with Supabase (hosted in the EU, London region). Email is handled through Klaviyo if you subscribe to the newsletter. Analytics may be processed by Google Analytics. Each provider processes data under its own privacy terms on our behalf.

Content moderation

Habit titles and descriptions you create are automatically screened (using an AI service) before appearing in public feeds, to keep the community safe.

Your rights

You can update your name, photo, and visibility in Settings. To export or permanently delete your account and data, email max@maxhuman.ai and we will action it within 30 days. EU/EEA residents have the rights provided by the GDPR, including access, correction, deletion, and portability.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update this page and the date above. Continued use of MaxHabits after changes means you accept the updated policy.
